Vantor is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the development and integration of intelligence capabilities into test and operational environments. In this role, you will help implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure used to integrate and deploy system components across cloud-based environments and multiple operational networks.
This position supports PUMA, the U.S. Intelligence Community’s Program of Record missile warning system, which operates 24/7 in redundant operational environments. PUMA integrates data from Department of Defense and Intelligence OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) sensors to generate 3D fused missile tracks used for tactical and strategic missile warning.
In this role, you will support the DevOps infrastructure that enables the integration, testing, and deployment of these mission-critical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in deploying and maintaining Kubernetes environments (EKS, RKE).
Implement infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support software integration and deployment.
Integrate security and static code analysis tools into DevOps pipelines.
Support deployments in cloud environments.
Collaborate with software and systems engineers to automate testing and documentation workflows.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and pipeline issues.
Support configuration management and release processes for deployed systems.
Monitor deployed applications and infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to pass a CI polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
