Salary: $175,000 - $215,000 per year, based on experience
Summary:
We are looking for an exceptional and forward-thinking Vice President of Supply Chain to refine and enhance our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a commitment to operational excellence and sustainable practices. Reporting to the COO, this role will be instrumental in steering the company towards continued success and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all supply chain functions including vendor selection, contract negotiations, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
- Optimize procurement processes to reduce costs while enhancing quality and sustainability.
- Develop and implement streamlined supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and boost profitability.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and continuous learning environment.
- Drive sustainability initiatives throughout the supply chain, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices, waste reduction, and ethical sourcing.
- Formulate and execute strategic plans for supply chain management in alignment with company goals.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for growth, expansion, and market differentiation through operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, ideally in the fast-casual or restaurant sector.
- Proven success in managing supply chain dynamics, vendor relationships, and procurement best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach and capacity to drive change and innovation.
- Passion for sustainability and operational excellence.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills tailored to supply chain challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Superior organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, essential for managing complex supply chains.
- Effective time management with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in evaluating, analyzing, and addressing multifaceted supply chain issues.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software applications.
