This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment with opportunities for growth. You will play a key role in our fabrication team, ensuring high-quality welds and meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and maintain paperwork; weekly inventory
- Read engineering drawings
- Perform MIG & TIG welding; inspect welds for strength and stability
- Troubleshoot welding equipment
- Work overtime as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of MIG & TIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use welding equipment
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Experience in thermal grinding, cutting, and welding repairs
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Fabrication shop setting with heavy equipment and high noise levels
- Must wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots
- Regular lifting, standing, and reaching; work involves manual dexterity and physical exertion
