Job Requirements Momentum Solar is a premier residential solar provider with offices throughout the U.S. Founded in 2009, Momentum has grown exponentially over the past decade. We implement the entire solar process to ensure a seamless transition to renewable energy.
Duties:
- Installs, repairs/ replaces, and tests associated electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Troubleshoots electrical wiring and components.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Residential electrical experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test PV related electrical circuits and associated equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
- Ability to read residential electrical blueprints and understand apply NEC codes as applicable.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to work on roofs and in attics.
- Ability to work well with others with a strong focus on teamwork.
- Training and certifications will be provided.
Must Haves:
- Must be well versed in residential wiring and conduit bending (EMT)
- Must have mechanical skills including but not limited to use of hand and power tools, drilling holes, setting up ladders, pulling and terminating of wiring.
- Solar/rooftop experience is strongly preferred.
Starting Pay: $20-25
