• Match, batch, code, and enter invoices
• Research and resolve AP/AR issues with vendors, as needed
• Audit and process credit card bills
• Review and verify incoming invoices
• Obtain appropriate approvals prior to processing payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and track outstanding balances
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries as needed
• Process 3-way PO invoices, matching the purchase order, packaging slip, and invoice to confirm price/quantity
• Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and account files
• Print and obtain signatures for checks, distribute checks accordingly
• Assist in month end closing
• Data entry of AP and AR items
• Assist with AR cash application processes
• Assist with AR/AP special projects as necessary
• Verifies and updates accounts to ledgers, spreadsheets, and/or databases
• Tracks company credit card charges and reconciles statements * Prepare account statements, reports, and general ledger accounts with various registers
• Compiles cost revenue reports and balance sheets
• Create and post journal entries in appropriate ledgers
• Performs copying, filing, and file maintenance tasks
• Provides back-up relief to Receptionist, as needed Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2+ years of AP related experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 3-way matching
• Working knowledge of general ledger systems and procedures
• Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize, while maintaining high attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidential information
