Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies in line with business goals.
• Manage domestic and international supplier relationships, with frequent travel to supplier locations.
• Lead contract negotiations, focusing on cost optimization and risk management.
• Oversee global sourcing, especially in Latin America and agricultural regions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations in all procurement operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Quality).
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of procurement and supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles in food or agriculture.
• Bilingual in Spanish (required).
• Proven experience in global sourcing and managing supplier networks.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Preferred:

• Experience in food manufacturing or agricultural production.
• Relevant certifications (CPSM, CSCP, or APICS).
