Robert Half Healthcare is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to support a Health Network in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical records management and be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our patients' medical records are accurate, complete, and confidential.

You will have the option to work one of the below offered schedules:

• M-F: 4:30pm -1am
• M-F: 12am - 6am

Responsibilities:

• File and maintain patient medical records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Process and track medical records requests from physicians, other healthcare providers, and patients
• Scan and upload medical records into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Release medical records to authorized parties in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Update and maintain patient demographic information
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years of experience in medical records management

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems preferred

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
