We are seeking a bilingual Production Supervisor to join the team at a manufacturer in Enfield, Connecticut.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• 3 years’ experience in direct supervision of hourly employees
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent critical thinking skills and high ethical standards
• Willingness to take ownership of results and outcomes
• Ability to speak comfortably in front of groups while presenting data and influencing behaviors
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Office
• Outstanding attention to detail and safety

As the Production Supervisor, you will oversee direct reports in the execution of the production plan to meet the company’s objectives and goals while maintaining safety as top priority, followed by product quality and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Motivates employees through training, communication, and coaching. addresses employee issues as needed.
• Conduct on-the-job training for all production, quality, and safety-related procedures.
• Prioritize production resources and activities to ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Maintain open communication regarding the status of production activities with production management and between shifts.
• Practice and follow plant safety programs and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)
• Follow quality and work instructions to reduce scrap through early detection and management of the auditing of finished goods.
• Foster a team environment with clear expectations and accountability, promoting a clean and organized workplace that minimizes waste, direct resources to minimize scrap and control waste.
