RPh on the Go is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 6-8 week contract assignment in Denton, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy technician with experience in sterile compounding to showcase their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile medications, including IV admixtures, in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure the accurate labeling, packaging, and documentation of compounded medications.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the compounding area, adhering to USP <797> and <800> guidelines.
• Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering and stocking of necessary supplies.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Shift:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications:

• One year of experience sterile compounding
• IV experience a plus
• TX Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB
