Duration: 1-4 years contract with possible conversion to full time

Must Haves:

• BS/BA in Nursing
• Active nursing license in NY
• 2-3 years of case management experience
• Knowledge of Disability, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, OSHA
• Experience in patient care (urgent care environment)
• Skills in Phlebotomy, EKG, Immunizations, basic first aid
• BLS certification

Plusses:

• Workers Comp experience
• COHN-S certification
• EMR experience

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking to hire an actively licensed RN for a large pharmaceutical company in Hudson Yards, NY. This person will be performing case management 90% of the time, speaking with colleagues who are returning to work and dealing with organizations/procedures from HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, Workers Comp, and more. They will be responsible for managing short-term disability claims and communicating the status of those claims to internal Pfizer colleagues and outside providers. The other 10% of the position includes providing urgent care to other employees at the company’s headquarters. This could include patient triage, counseling, patient education, acute emergency visits, first aid, and other responsibilities.

The working hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-4:30 pm onsite 5 days per week for the first 6 months, then moving to 1 remote day a week after 6 months.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
