Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:Lawrenceville Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will provide essential services to students with speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders, helping them achieve their full potential. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about student growth and adept at creating personalized therapy plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct prehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each students unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student evaluations, progress, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, providing expert input for the development of student goals and objectives.
- Perform screenings and assessments to identify students who may benefit from speech-language services.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Provide training and support to school staff and parents to enhance students munication abilities.
Qualifications:- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards mission (PSC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Required Licensure and Certifications:- State Licensure: Must possess a valid Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Professional Certification: Must hold the Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Educator Certification: Must have a valid Speech and Language Pathology Service (S-5) Certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards mission (PSC).
