One of the major healthcare organizations in Gainesville, GA, is looking to hire a full time ED RN. This health system is a level 1 trauma center comprised of 84 patient rooms. This department fulfills the following responsibilities:

• Provides care for the emergent and non-emergent population
• Assessing patients’ healthcare needs, stabilizing as is possible, and evaluating patients with life threatening conditions, providing services immediately indicated.
• Establishing and maintaining necessary training programs to provide ED and community personnel with the basic skills to intervene in life threatening situations
• Communicating the availability of follow up care as provided by the hospital or other community health care services

Qualifications:

• Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia. 
• Educational Requirements: Associate degree, ADN or Diploma required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
• BLS, PALS, TNCC
