BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, RN, for a position on-call and performing emergency night visits if needed. This office services our hospice clients throughout

New Castle County.

Position is for every other week, 26 weeks per year (but paid for 52 weeks), weekdays Monday-Friday 5:00 pm – 8:30 am and 24 hours on Saturdays & Sundays with premium pay.

Full Time compensation and benefits but only work 26 weeks out of the year!

Prior home care, hospice, or acute care experience strongly preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories after business hours and during the weekend days and evenings.
• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Performing client assessments as necessary.

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• • A current license as a Registered Nurse in Delaware.
  • A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical experience.
  • Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
