Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Valparaiso, Indiana. The ideal candidate will provide prehensive speech and language services to students, helping them achieve their full potential. This position involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and munication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for goal setting and progress monitoring.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Indiana State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Required Licensure and Certifications:
- Indiana State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Speech-Language Pathologist License.
