We are seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware! You will review program documents to determine if they meet quality standards as well as review all submitted documents to ensure proper completion.
Some responsibilities in this position includes the following:
- Assisting in the development, communication, and compliance monitoring of Behavioral Health Services on policies and procedures.
- Validating information with administrative staff for outcomes management
- Quantitative reports (review and track documents)
- Assisting in the development and staff trainings covering the privacy of, and access to, consumer health information in compliance with federal and state laws and Horizon House’s information privacy practices.
Supervision Received:
- General supervision for the Quality Improvement Manager, Behavior Health Services.
Qualifications:
- BA degree with one year experience.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, Excel and forms application(s).
- Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis and data presentation.
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with accreditation and or state licensure review processes.
- Very good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently, detail oriented and strong analytical skills.
- Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Scope:
- Requires sitting for long periods of time.
- Frequent talking and listening.
- Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 25lbs.
- Required to have valid driver’s license and have access to own vehicle.
