Qualifications:

• IL RN License
• BLS Certification
• ASN Degree

Pay Scale: Starts at $34.75 for new graduates, increases based on experience.

Units:

5 South Critical Care/Telemetry Unit

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4-5
• Patient Population: COPD exacerbation, STEMI, respiratory/cardiac arrest, neuro/cardiac/vascular surgery
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in acute care
• Night Shift Available

ICU

• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1 to 2
• Number of Beds: 14
• Patient Population: Cardiac arrest, Brain bleed, Sepsis, Drug overdose
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in PCU/IMCU/ED/CCU/Cardiac Tele
• Night Shift Available

Decisional/Observation Unit

• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1 to 6
• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Population: Mixed population in terms of age and mobility. Multi-cultural and language patients. This is a short stay/decisional unit. Many of the patients on this unit are in the process of discovering a diagnosis. Common rule outs for patients with chest pain, low Hg, waiting stress test/MRI
• On average 4-5 admits per day
• Must have at least 1 year of cardiac tele experience, & must be proficient in reading/interpreting EKGs and dysrhythmias
• Day & Night Shift Available
