Registered Nurse (RN) - Towson, Maryland
Sheppard Pratt is seeking passionate and skilled staff Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Maryland. As an RN at Sheppard Pratt, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and addiction. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our patients. We are currently hiring for adult and adolescent units.
Pay will be discussed during initial phone screen.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote recovery and wellness.
- Educate patients and families on mental health and addiction treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in psychiatric nursing.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.
- BLS certification.
- New and experienced RNs welcome!
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Child & Adolescent Autism
- 3+ years of bedside RN experience
- 12 beds
- Ages 5-17
- Nurse to patient ratio - 1:4-5
Thought Disorders
- 22 beds
- Ages 18+
- Nurse to patient ratio - 1:6
Co-Ed Adolescent
- 17 beds
- Ages 12-17
- Nurse to patient ratio - 1:6
Crisis Stabilization
- 22 beds
- Ages 18+
- Nurse to patient ratio - 1:6
Coastal Unit
- 17 beds
- Ages 18-30
- Nurse to patient ratio - 1:5-6
