We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospital Pharmacist to provide temporary coverage at a well-respected hospital in Hugoton, Kansas. This role is perfect for a pharmacist looking for short-term, rewarding work in a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and provide clinical consultations to healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Participate in hospital committees and clinical teams as needed.

Shift:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Thursday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
• Contract: Tentatively 12/1 to 3/15

Qualifications:

• NE State Pharmacist license
• 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy setting.
• Non-Sterile Compounding experience is a plus but not required (will train)
