Soliant is seeking a qualified pharmacist for its renowned 250-bed Level I Trauma Centerin the heart of Southern Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacy Director in maintaining 24-hour accountability for the hospital pharmacy's operations
- Manage department scheduling efficiently
- Oversee personnel functions including recruitment, hiring, evaluations, and education
- Monitor and advise on staff performance and progress
- Ensure pliance with USP 797/800 standards and assist in pliance management
- Evaluate and optimize pharmacy workflow for efficiency
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy
- Manage pharmacy inventory and collaborate with the Pharmacy Purchaser to meet departmental demands
- Represent the department in mittee meetings as required
- Collaborate with Health System Information Systems department for efficient management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm. D.
- Five years of pharmacy experience, with at least one year in a hospital setting
- Management experience highly preferred
