Soliant is seeking a qualified pharmacist for its renowned 250-bed Level I Trauma Centerin the heart of Southern Alabama.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pharmacy Director in maintaining 24-hour accountability for the hospital pharmacy's operations
• Manage department scheduling efficiently
• Oversee personnel functions including recruitment, hiring, evaluations, and education
• Monitor and advise on staff performance and progress
• Ensure pliance with USP 797/800 standards and assist in pliance management
• Evaluate and optimize pharmacy workflow for efficiency
• Lead quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy
• Manage pharmacy inventory and collaborate with the Pharmacy Purchaser to meet departmental demands
• Represent the department in mittee meetings as required
• Collaborate with Health System Information Systems department for efficient management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm. D.
• Five years of pharmacy experience, with at least one year in a hospital setting
• Management experience highly preferred
