Qualifications:

• CA RN License
• BLS Certification
• ASN Degree
• At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience

Pay Scale: Starts at $44/hr for new graduates, increases based on experience.

Units:

ICU

• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1 to 1-2
• Number of Beds: 18
• Patient Population: Cardio-vascular patients including care of open heart patients and post interventional patients; Newly diagnosed stroke patients and those on clot reducing medications; Trauma patients with multiple system instability; Patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring; conducts, at minimum, hourly patient assessments

General Med/Surg 1

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4
• Number of Beds: 20
• Patient Population: General Med/Surg

General Med/Surg 4

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 5

• Patient Population: General Med/Surg

Definitive Observation Unit

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 3
• Number of Beds: 30
• Patient Population: Cardio-vascular patients, including care of post interventional patients and post open-heart patients. Stable pediatric patients aged 3-16 years including some trauma, gastroenteritis and pulmonary diseases. Competently cares for ICU over flow patients and functions independently when floating to the ICU

Med/Surg Tower 3 (Cardiac/Stroke)

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4
• Number of Beds: 30
• Patient Population: Acute and chronically ill patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, cardiac & stroke patients
• Night Shift Available

Med/Surg Tower 5 (Ortho/Oncology)

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4
• Number of Beds: 30
• Patient Population: Orthopedic and oncology patients
• Night Shift Available

Behavioral Health Unit

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 6
• Number of Beds: 23
• Patient Population: Acute psych, schizophrenia, manic, bi-polar, LPS designated unit (criminals), 24 hour locked unit
• Night Shift Available

Emergency Department

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4
• Number of Beds: 40-50
• Patient Population: Bleeding, Breathing difficulties, Fit and/or epileptic seizure, Severe pain, Heart attack, Stroke, Trauma
• Night Shift Available

Labor & Delivery

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 2
• Number of Beds: 22
• Patient Population: Women before, during and after delivery of the baby
• Must have at least 2 years of recent L&D experience
• Night Shift Available
