Job Description: Soliant Health is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Lafayette, Georgia. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans and deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' communication skills and overall quality of life.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- Experience with AAC devices is preferred
- IEP experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
- Providing direct therapy services to address speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice disorders
- Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Documenting patient progress, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to regulatory requirements
- Participating in team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field
