Position: Pharmacist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to cover a maternity leave at our location in Hugoton, KS. This temporary position will involve typical retail pharmacy duties with a small hospital component. The hospital census is typically low, with no more than six patients at a time, and involves filling the Pyxis machines for up to four patients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage and fill Pyxis machines, primarily for a small number of hospital patients.

Requirements:

• Active Kansas Pharmacist License.
• A minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacy experience.
• Hospital experience is preferred but not required.
