We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our school district near Palm Desert, CA. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students, particularly in the preschool age group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive occupational therapy assessments for preschool-aged children.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the child's development and educational goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on occupational therapy needs and interventions.
• Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff on strategies to support students with occupational therapy needs in the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent munication and organizational skills.
