Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity in Annapolis, Maryland

• Established Health System on the Eastern Shore
• 24/7 In-House Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, and Delivery Room Coverage
• Full-Time Opening Hospitalist Schedule Roughly 1 Week On/1 Week Off, etc.

Pediatric Hospitalist Job Duties

• Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients admitted to the hospital
• Coordinate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
• Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
• Monitor patients progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with social workers and other clinical staff to ensure patients needs are met
• Communicate effectively with patients families, providing updates and addressing concerns

Requirements of the Pediatric Hospitalist

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible
• Have/will complete Pediatric Residency
