Pharmacist with ER Experience

Location: Peridot, AZ
Schedule/Shift:

• Full-Time
• Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Overview: RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Peridot,Arizona. This full-time position is ideal for a pharmacist with over two years of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting. The role involves managing high-volume prescription processing, utilizing advanced pharmacy systems, and leading a team to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement outcome measures and tracking systems for financial and operational efficiency.
• Lead the development and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assess program effectiveness and drive continuous process improvement efforts.
• Provide guidance and support to staff for professional growth and performance standards.

Pharmacy Volume & Technology:

• High volume: 1,000+ prescriptions per day.
• Program Systems: ScriptPro Program Management System with SP200 Robot; RPMS - Electronic Health Record system (transitioning to a new EHR system).
• Automated Medication Dispensing Systems: Omnicell ADCs and Carousel, Kirby Lester counting machine.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of professional experience, with at least two years of management experience preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred, including one year of residency.
• 2+ years of experience working in an Emergency Room (ER).
• Current and active state unrestricted Pharmacy license, with preference for an Arizona state license.
• AHA/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to successfully pass a background and drug screen.
