Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Location: Kent, WA

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team for the upcoming school year in the Kent, WA area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a profound impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support students with autism or behavioral disorders.
• Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support and skill-building sessions.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress towards individualized goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Ability to follow behavior plans and data collection procedures accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
