Key Details:
- Position Type: Full-time, Contract
- Schedule: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations to determine students' functional capabilities and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, including fine motor skills training, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and help develop IEP goals.
- Educate and train school staff and parents on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure in California as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
