Endeavor Health (formerly NorthShore University HealthSystem) is in search of registered nurses to join the PICU team!

Location: 801 S. Washington St. Naperville, IL 60540 (359 beds, Level II Trauma)

Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Pay: Starting at $34.68/hour and increases with experience

Shifts: AM and PM available, 36 hours/week

Responsibilities:

Assess, treat, and monitor young patients under 18 years old who are presenting acute, serious ailments.

Coordinate age-appropriate care with other healthcare members.

Typical nursing duties include measuring blood pressure, following oxygen levels, tracking urine output, inserting IVs, changing wound dressings, administering antibiotics, adjusting ventilators, and analyzing lab results.

Record patient information concisely and accurately because every symptom matters.

Answer questions and provide education for caregivers about managing their child’s health condition.

Must Haves:

• RN license in the state of Illinois
• BLS certification
• ASN
• 2-years PICU experience
