Qualifications:

• NC RN License
• BLS and ACLS (for some units)
• 1 year acute care experience
• Associates accepted, must agree to enroll in BSN program within 4 years of being hired

Medical/Surgical

• Various med/surgs units open
• Average Nurse to patient ratio - 1:4-5

Acute Short Stay

• 28 beds
• Nurse to patient ratio - 1:5-6
• Wide variety of medical diagnoses including, TIA, falls, syncope, nausea and vomiting, cellulitis, anemia, flu

Oncology

• 31 beds
• Nurse to patient ratio - 1:5-6
• Medical, Oncology

Orthopedics

• 30 beds
• Nurse to patient ratio - 1:5-6
• Primarily total joint replacement patients - knees, hips, shoulders. Fractures and med/surg overflow.

General Surgery

• 30 beds
• Nurse to patient ratio - 1:5-6
• Post surgical

Heart & Vascular

• 24 beds
• Nurse to patient ratio - 1:4
• Cardiac medicine, adult and geriatric patients
