Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for a position near Beech Grove, IN.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, providing specialized instruction and support, and collaborating with other educators and support staff to ensure that all students receive an inclusive education that meets their unique needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Special Education Teaching license for the state of Indiana
• Must have an Intensive Intervention License or be willing to apply for one if interested in an intensive caseload
• Will consider a Mild-Moderate License or an alternate license if needed
• Experience working with students with disabilities
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students both individually and in group settings
• Plan curriculum, special education programs, and teaching methods
• Evaluate and monitor student progress in and outside of the classroom
• Determine and implement goals, objectives, and directives
