Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a flexible contract assignment, and want to work in the area of Watertown, MA!
Soliant has partnered with a local school district and is seeking a contract SLP to either fill in as a Long-term substitute, or to fill in for the full school year. Additional information about the District, assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munications Disorders
- Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology License
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Report on evaluation results, and determine if new students are eligible for speech services
- Develop individualized education plans (IEP) and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Make remendations for therapy, in order to meet the goals of the IEP.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
