Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a flexible contract assignment, and want to work in the area of Watertown, MA!

Soliant has partnered with a local school district and is seeking a contract SLP to either fill in as a Long-term substitute, or to fill in for the full school year. Additional information about the District, assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munications Disorders
• Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology License

As a school-based SLP, you will:

• Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
• Report on evaluation results, and determine if new students are eligible for speech services
• Develop individualized education plans (IEP) and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
• Make remendations for therapy, in order to meet the goals of the IEP.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
• Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
• Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
• Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
• Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
• Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
