Special Education Teacher - Long-Term Sub

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a long-term substitute position at our elementary school in Hyde Park, MA. This is a full-time position starting in August 2024.

Position Details:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field
• At least two years of full-time teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting
• Valid Massachusetts Special Education license or ability to obtain within one year of hire

This is a long-term coverage position from August to December 2024 with the potential for continued employment based on school needs.
