HIRING EXPERIENCED SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST WITH THEIR CCCS IN TEXAS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Role: Speech Language Pathologist (1099 Independent Contractor)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours)
Pay: Hourly, once a week ($40-50)
Location: Pasadena, Texas

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create IEPs tailored to the needs of students with communication disorders.
• Administer standardized tests, observations, and informal assessments to identify students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly assess and document students' progress toward their communication goals, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Offer professional guidance to less experienced colleagues.
• Employ technology effectively in assessments, treatments, and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active TX Speech Language Pathologist License (CCCs)
• Bilingual is a must- Spanish
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting
• Experience providing virtual therapy services
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet (no Chromebooks/tablets permitted)
