School Psychologist
Description:

23/24 SY
5 days/week
35 hours/week
o 1 hour unpaid lunch
Onsite position
08/17-05/24/2024
8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
4 schools in district
9th-12th grade caseload
Average sized caseload
Mild to moderate disabilities
Travel within buildings needed
Assessments, rating scales, report writing, IEP/eligibility meetings, and 504s

Requirements

Education and Certification:

1. Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
2. Valid and current Illinoisstate license or certification as a School Psychologist.

Experience:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
2. Familiarity with Illinoisstate regulations and guidelines pertaining to special education and psychological services in schools.

Qualifications:

• Experience in school psychology or a related role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and best practices.
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions.
• Compassion, empathy, and commitment to student success.

Interviews are generally conducted via Zoom. Depending on the circumstances, pay is negotiable and usually experience-based.
