Job Posting: Full-Time School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced School Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Clarkston, MI area. Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), in accordance with local and state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of required RBT training and supervision hours.
- Proficiency in implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by a BCBA to address students' individualized behavior goals.
- Providing one-on-one or small group instruction to students to teach and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Collecting data on students' behavior and progress toward goals.
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to support students' behavior needs in the classroom and school environment.
- Participating in team meetings to review student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Providing training and support to school staff on implementing behavior management techniques.
- Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on students' behavior and progress.
