Position: Special Education Teacher (Full-Time)
Location: Onancock, Virginia

• 3x - Early Childhood SPED
• 1x - Elementary Inclusion
• 1x - High School Inclusion

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs at either the elementary or secondary level.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Virginia teaching certification in Special Education
• Specified VirginiaClearances for Early Childhood, and/or High School Inclusion.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
