Soliant is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a school district in need for the uping school year. As an SLPA in this role, you will work under the direct supervision of an SLP to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and munication disorders. Collaboration with the SLP in creating intervention and treatment plans for students will also be part of your responsibilities. The director is eager to review applications and conduct interviews for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating munication disorders
• Conducting screenings to identify voice or speech disorders
• Educating students, families and staff about speech disorders, including causes related to disabilities or traumatic events
• Maintaining detailed records of students conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
• Caseload will be based on candidates preference and experience

Experience:

• SLPA experience is preferred
• Prior experience as an SLPA in a school or pediatric setting is preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent is required
• Active Florida SLPA License is mandatory
