Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Behavior Intervention Teacher to join our team in Hardin, Montana. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young students. As a Behavior Intervention Teacher, you will work with students, teachers, and parents to address and support behavioral and emotional needs within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans for students
- Provide direct support and instruction to students with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress
Requirements:
- EDUC certification with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders endorsement
- MT Teacher certification with proper endorsement
- Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
