Position: Paraprofessional
Location: Near La Quinta, CA
Hours: Part-Time, 25 hours per week (5 hours per day)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Assist a certified teacher in reinforcing instruction for individual or small groups of students.
• Help in the preparation of instructional materials and the implementation of intervention and behavior plans.
• Work independently with identified students, following the classroom teacher's direction.
• Administer and score tests and assessments.
• Perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a California SPED license or equivalent to high school graduation.
• One year of experience in assisting teachers in a classroom setting, such as a paraprofessional.
• College-level units in education preferred.
