Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
VocoVision is looking for a Montana-based K-12 Special Education Teacher to plan, organize, and deliver tailored instructional programs in a virtual setting, helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Duties:
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student.
- Continuously evaluate student progress and provide recommendations for curriculum modifications and necessary accommodations.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents and caregivers, updating them on student progress.
- Collaborate with educational teams by participating in IEP meetings.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree is required.
- Must have a valid Special Education Teaching License in Montana.
- A Montana Special Education Teaching Certification is also required.
- At least 2 years of experience working within a school setting.
- All necessary clearances to work in public or charter schools must be secured.
- Experience in early childhood education is a plus.
- Availability to work 37.5 hours per week.
- This position is for the 2023-2024 school year.
Student Caseload:
- The role will involve managing a caseload of 20-25 students.
