Virtual School Psychologist

We are seeking a Virtual School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students enrolled in virtual education programs across Oklahoma. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will collaborate with educators, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders to support the social, emotional, and academic success of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, including those with disabilities, learning disorders, or behavioral challenges.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to address students' social and emotional concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and stress management.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic progress and overall well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress, develop intervention strategies, and make recommendations for educational programming.
- Assist in crisis intervention and response, including providing support to students experiencing emotional distress or behavioral crises.
- Stay current on best practices, research, and trends in school psychology and virtual education to inform service delivery and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and communications with students and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, educators, and administrators via virtual platforms, email, and phone.
- Collaborate with community resources and agencies to coordinate additional support services for students and families as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting, preferably in a virtual or online environment.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, methodologies, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using technology and virtual platforms for service delivery, assessment, and communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a high degree of organization and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in accordance with professional guidelines and regulations.
