Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized health care to a student with specific medical needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during school hours.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider.
• Monitor the student's health condition and respond promptly to any medical emergencies or changes in health status.
• Communicate effectively with the student, their family, and school staff to coordinate care and ensure continuity of support.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation related to the student's health care plan.
• Educate and train school staff regarding the student's medical needs and emergency protocols.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes the student's overall well-being and educational success.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Washington.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
