Position Overview: As a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in our students' academic journey. You will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in order to improve their communication skills, enhance their learning abilities, and support their overall development. Your expertise will contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, fluency, language, and voice
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop strategies and interventions for students
- Monitor students' progress, track data, and adjust therapy plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and reports
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of California
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting is highly desirable
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
- Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques
