Job Description: Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Piqua, Ohio
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Role Overview: Piqua School District is on the lookout for a passionate and knowledgeable Speech-Language Pathologist. The SLP will play a crucial role in identifying, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and munication disorders among students. This position is integral to helping students reach their full academic and social potential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment outes.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' munication skills.
- Maintain thorough and precise records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of student goals and objectives.
- Offer training and support to school staff on speech and language enhancement techniques.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Ohio state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Preferably, experience working in a school environment.
- Excellent munication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
