Contract Opportunity: Remote Occupational Therapist in San Jose CA

Position: Occupational Therapist
Duration: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week - for Entire School Year

Description: This school district isseeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team on a contract basis. The district is open to VOCO (Virtual Occupational Therapist) candidates who have remote experience in a school setting. The selected candidate will be required to interview this week and start next week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students from PreK to Adult across the district.
• Conduct assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student success and participation in school activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Experience working in a school setting, with remote experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
