We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Special Education Teacher to join our team in Cologne, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education to students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with colleagues and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
• Use innovative teaching strategies and technologies to support student learning and communication.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching plans as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student development and progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with regulations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education.
• Certification in a specific area of Special Education (e.g., Learning Disabilities, Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders).
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education.
