Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional for a full-time, onsite position in the Hanover Park, IL area. This role will focus on supporting an elementary school caseload during the 2024-2025 school year. Interviews are being scheduled ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with special needs in the classroom, assisting with academic tasks and social-emotional development.
• Work closely with teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure that students receive appropriate acmodations and modifications.
• Assist with classroom management, behavior interventions, and other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher.
• Support students in both individual and group settings, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help with daily activities, including transitions, personal care, and other tasks as needed to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with special needs students.
• Patience, empathy, and strong munication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in special education or child development are a plus.

Job Details:
