Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support students' academic and behavioral success
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students with diverse needs
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Facilitate crisis intervention and support services as needed
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other support plans for students with disabilities
• Serve as a resource and consultant to teachers and staff on issues related to student behavior, mental health, and learning
• Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in the field of school psychology

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Illinois
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students
