Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students based on assessment results and in collaboration with the IEP team.
- Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy services to students with various communication disorders and delays.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the speech and language needs of students within the educational setting.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities as required.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Eligible for or currently holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in [State].
- Experience working with children with a variety of communication disorders is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
