Responsibilities:

• Facilitate munication between deaf or hard of hearing individuals and hearing individuals in classrooms, meetings, events, and other settings as needed.
• Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa accurately, preserving the content, tone, and intent of the message.
• Ensure confidentiality and impartiality while maintaining professional conduct and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in sign languagewith strong receptive and expressive skills.
• Associates Degree minimum.
• 4.0+ EIPA or RID or ESSE or NAD/ACCI certification.
